Faith Like Potatoes... in Zambia!

Since we started working in Twashuka, Zambia in 2016, we have seen God open so many doors for ministry, not only in sharing the gospel, but also in educating, feeding, and discipling the whole community. Thanks to your support last year, we were able to grow the school to TWO buildings now, so we’ve increased our capacity. Although we do have a sponsorship program where you can sponsor a child directly for the school, we’ve also been working behind the scenes to try to figure out how we can care for the children through sustainable agriculture.

About a year ago, we were approached by a government official in Zambia who was inspired by our work and wanted to help. We were given 135 acres of land to cultivate to help feed the children and/or to sell crops as a source of income. Wow! What a provision! This was very exciting for us, so we jumped in! We nicknamed the project “Faith Like Potatoes”, and we planted an entire field of Irish potatoes! Originally, the plan was to sell the potatoes in Zambia to raise money for the school. But the problem is that COVID-19 has completely destroyed the economy in Zambia, and the potatoes weren’t selling for enough money to sustain the school. So, we had an idea….

What if we could get the word out and have Americans “buy” bags of potatoes? That way, the school would get the funding they need and on top of that, the potatoes would be donated directly to the school!

So with that said, we have potatoes for sale!!

The money will be donated to the school and the actual potatoes will be given to families in Twashuka and distributed at the school. Your purchase of potatoes will go a long way in helping us continue this important work in Zambia.

Sponsor a Child

Our Sponsorship Program gives children a safe learning environment, where they learn academics and more about the Gospel, as well as receiving a daily meal, and necessities, such as shoes, soap and a school uniform.
